Instructional Design Specialist

The Training Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the Learning & Development team by assisting in the administration, development, and presentation of a variety of training offerings for both our offices and stores.

- Coordinate training classes including registration, materials, and follow-up - Assist in the development of new training materials and programs - Recommend and coordinate updates to existing training material to ensure continuous improvement of learning content and delivery techniques - Liaise with the New Store Opening team on the coordination of training for new stores - Create periodic reporting (scorecard) that outline learning needs along with results, impact and recommendations for future - Administer the Learning Management System (LMS) - Maintain department resources, calendars, budget tracking and other ad hoc administrative matters as needed

- BA or BS degree in human resources, instructional design, organizational development or closely related field preferred or the equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform essential functions of the job - 1-3 years of training or human resources experience - Retail experience a plus, but not required - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Organized, detail-oriented and process-oriented - Experience in LMS management and administration, including course publication, tracking, assigning and follow-up (SuccessFactors experience preferred) - Experience with graphic design (Adobe Creative Suite) preferred - Knowledge of Microsoft Office
