Train Supervisor

Responsibilities include scheduling and management of rail yard staff; coordinating and preparing rail cars for loading / unloading; check and verify unit numbers on all inbound/outbound trains; coordinate the movements of both switch and ramp crews; and identify situations that require problem solving to achieve efficient flow of the rail yard.

Qualifications include HS/GED; previous transportation and supervisory experience a plus; able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs.; and have a flexible schedule. Must be willing to work in varying weather conditions and possess a flexible schedule. Further qualifications include typing, math, organization and time management skills along with Microsoft Office (Windows, PowerPoint and Excel) skills. Must pass drug and criminal background check.
