Marketing Coordinator

Iteris is the global leader in applied informatics for transportation and agriculture, turning big data into big breakthrough solutions. We collect, aggregate and analyze data on traffic, roads, weather, water, soil and crops to generate precise informatics that lead to safer transportation and smarter farming.

Iteris is seeking a motivated Marketing Coordinator to perform a range of general marketing responsibilities in its Transportation division. Iteris provides transportation solutions to agencies to enhance safety and mobility.

The role as Marketing Coordinator is tasked with the following core responsibilities:

• Develop proposals in response to RFPs
• Review and search project lead services for possible project pursuits
• Development of graphics including static and video presentations to support our marketing efforts
• Assist in creative concepts, reviewing, copy editing and proofing for transportation marketing initiatives
• Monitor competitors for competitive insight
• Evaluate performance, identify competitive threats, and determine product strengths, weaknesses and opportunities by conducting market analyses

This position is based out of Iteris’ Santa Ana headquarters in California.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or equivalent
• At least 12 months’ experience in proposal preparation ideally for public agencies
• 2-5 years’ experience with Adobe Creative Suite software
• 2-5 years’ experience demonstrated ability to prepare high quality marketing materials in a variety of formats

Qualifications Desired

• Social media and website platforms and measurement tools skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task, set priorities, and self-manage against tight timelines and aggressive expectations
