Financial Analyst

Responsible for assisting in the completion and creation of all of the divisions’ financial and operating reports. Able to interpret the most current accounting and operations principles to analyze and build financial models and reporting packages. Support in the completion of yearly and quarterly financial planning and forecasting for the Apartments group. Support industry and peer group research and benchmarking analysis and reporting as necessary.

* Assist in completion of the divisions’ monthly financial reports as well as provide variance commentary * Assist in completion of quarterly forecasts, annual budgeting processes, operating plan variance analyses, and special projects * This function act as an analytical expert for the Apartments division to provide insights and support for optimal business decision making * Able to manipulate large quantities of data in order to build financial models and reporting packages * Provide database maintenance on a monthly basis in order to provide financial information across different groups * Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies * Firm understanding of financial statements to assist in peer benchmark analytics * Ad hoc requests

* BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, or Economics * 1-3 years in a financial analyst role, real estate background a plus but not required
