Senior Accountant

iProspect, a division of the Dentsu Aegis Network, is the world’s leading digital performance marketing agency. The Senior Accountant will support the team in carrying out the Operational Finance strategy by providing accurate, reliable, timely, and consistent reporting/information. Close collaboration is required with various groups including Operational Finance, overhead department leads, client teams, and DAN Corporate Finance. Role will support teams across multiple geographic locations.

• Ensure all transactions are recorded in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Assist Controller to drive month-end close for all iProspect. entities
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure proper reconciliation of all accounts
• Review contracts and determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment in accordance with GAAP
• Ensure strict adherence to all compliance and regulatory filings
• Assist with implementation of controls and documentation procedures
• Own and administer project accounting calculations and analysis
• Assist clients with weekly, monthly and yearly requests
• Approve month end closing entries and supporting documentation by junior staff
• Review and enhance accounting processes and general ledger capabilities
• Assist Controller with UK and US general ledger consolidation as well as preparation of month end financials
• Liaise with various departments to collaborate and complete tasks as necessary

• Previous experience with databases and financial software applications
• Proficient presentation, reporting and communication skills
• Degree in Accounting
• 6+ years of general accounting experience
• Proven expertise of GAAP/Strong understanding of US GAAP & IFRS
• Demonstrated proficiency with Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMPRODUCT functions, pivot tables)
• Cost and Project accounting experience is a plus
• CPA and/or Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred
• International experience a plus?
• Prior experience with MS Dynamics/NetSuite preferred
