About Ionic
Ionic is an HTML5 mobile app development framework targeted at building hybrid mobile apps. Hybrid apps are essentially small websites running in a browser shell in an app that have access to the native platform layer. Hybrid apps have many benefits over pure native apps, specifically in terms of platform support, speed of development, and access to 3rd party code.
Summary
* The Ionic team is looking for a support engineer to help support the greater Ionic developer community.
* As a support engineer on the Ionic Framework team, you'll be responsible for triaging issues on our GitHub repo, working with community members on our Forum and Slack Channel, providing fixes for crucial Ionic issues, and helping with Enterprise support customers.
Responsibilities
* Triage GitHub issues, work with the team to identify and prioritize issues
* Manage the Ionic Forum and Slack Channel, provide help on Stack Overflow
* Work with the Enterprise sales team to provide support and sales engineering
Ideal Candidate
* Intermediate JavaScript experience
* Experience with AngularJS a plus
* Experience with Git and GitHub a major plus
* HTML and CSS skills
