Investment Management Group Analyst

(Dallas, Texas)Invitation Homes specializes in purchasing, renovating, renting, and professionally managing single-family homes across the country.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain financial and operational models (both asset and corporate). Develop memos and presentations for executive management and investors to communicate results and findings.
- Work with divisional managers to understand and capture business requirements.
- Interact directly with IT product development resources to provide business context and ensure that physical designs conform to logical requirements.
- Gather knowledge and requirements for reports and analysis from both internal and external subject matter experts.
- Support team members with business and/or technical questions.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with corporate and market-based team members.
- Manage tasks to meet project timelines and milestones.
Education and Experience:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is required
- 1 year of related work experience is preferred; considering recent graduates.
- Must be highly analytical and have a strong interest in real estate.
- Must possess an interest in developing technological solutions to manage, analyze and succinctly summarize the large amount of corporate financial and operational data.
- Strong knowledge of Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to adapt and respond to high priority escalations.
- Must be able to produce high-quality work as part of a fast-paced,dynamic team.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with proven technical writing abilities.
- Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
