Investment Management Group Analyst

Invitation Homes specializes in purchasing, renovating, renting, and professionally managing single-family homes across the country.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain financial and operational models (both asset and corporate). Develop memos and presentations for executive management and investors to communicate results and findings.
• Work with divisional managers to understand and capture business requirements.
• Interact directly with IT product development resources to provide business context and ensure that physical designs conform to logical requirements.
• Gather knowledge and requirements for reports and analysis from both internal and external subject matter experts.
• Support team members with business and/or technical questions.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with corporate and market-based team members.
• Manage tasks to meet project timelines and milestones.

Education and Experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is required
• 1 year of related work experience is preferred; considering recent graduates.
• Must be highly analytical and have a strong interest in real estate.
• Must possess an interest in developing technological solutions to manage, analyze and succinctly summarize the large amount of corporate financial and operational data.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to adapt and respond to high priority escalations.
• Must be able to produce high-quality work as part of a fast-paced,dynamic team.
• Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with proven technical writing abilities.
• Proven ability to work well in a team environment.
