Summary
We are looking for an eager, self-starting Staff Software QA Engineer to join our team! The ideal candidate will run test automation, document, and report results of software testing of our systems and applications for front-end user software, remote presence endpoint platform software, and communication software. Create Automation test suites and the appropriate validation and reporting of those automation test suites to accompany black box testing that is currently done on all endpoint and PAS software.
Responsibilities
* Write technical test cases based on the Design specifications and Marketing requirements
* Support, maintain, document, and write automation test scripts for software testing
* Analyze bugs to find causes and steps to reproduce and create automation scripts to catch similar faults in the future
* Participate in software QA meetings/standups and analyze test cases
* Consult with Engineering Management to refine and test new and existing product lines
* Maintain existing test cases; test on new platforms
* Identify and evaluate new technologies for testing purposes
* Analyze user needs to determine technical requirements for testing
* Responsible for automation scripts, implementation, validation of scripts, and initial documentation
* Serve as technical resource on automation test projects
* Work under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment
* May consult with senior peers on certain projects
Ideal Candidate
**Knowledge, Skills & Ability**
* Python and AutoIT scripting ability
* Selenium automation ability
* Ability to write automation scripts and reporting structure for automation
**Qualifications**
* Moderate skills with high level of proficiency.
* Typically requires 3-5 years of experience
* 4 year degree or equivalent
* English-language written and spoken communication skills
