Summary
The Digital Sales Manager will pursue sales opportunities, create powerful sales stories and presentations, and grow both new and existing business for assigned accounts. Selling multiple products to customers and their advertising agencies, s/he will utilize a creative, problem-solving approach and superior closing skills.
Responsibilities
* The digital sales manager will lead the station's efforts to develop new and incremental digital business, reduce digital churn, manager the station's digital sales specialists and hold AE's accountable for incorporating digital components into every sales pitch. * Successful candidate will be accountable for hitting the station's digital revenue goals. * The DSM will accompany sellers to presentations on a regular basis and assist directly in closing business. * The DSM reports weekly digital activity and updated forecasts to the GSM and LSMs and works as a team leader for all things digital.
Ideal Candidate
* The ideal candidate will have five years sales experience with strong presentation, writing, critical thinking and negotiation skills. * A solid understanding of mobile, programmatic, social and custom content sales elevates a candidate's potential. * The ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, self-motivate, and add to the energy of a highly engaged team will be additional keys to success; able to generate a high volume of sales related activity including cold calls, presentations, proposals, and more.
