Software Engineer - Java

Our Software Engineer creates software solutions by analyzing, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining Java based components and interfaces. They also:

• Participate in the development and preparation of JAVA design specifications
• Work with the R&D team leadership or implementation team leadership to meet delivery deadlines as well as maintain/support of existing applications
• Provide implementation support
• Work closely with Project Leaders to resolve any issues
• Follow testing life cycle procedures
• Document modifications and changes to program
• Recommend improved policies and procedures
• Propose software configuration/modification to adapt to business change requirements
• Recognize and propose core software improvements

Candidates will be awesome problem solvers with:

• 3+ years professional experience
• Proficiency in JAVA, data architecture, algorithms, relational database design and Oracle, MS, SQL, and DB2 databases
• Experience in Windows Server, Linux and IMB/OS operating systems

It's a plus if you have:

• Websphere Application Server and Tomcat Applications Server experience
• Experience in Websphere Development Studio (Development Tool)
• Experience developing highly scalable, distributed, dynamic client server applications
• C++ Experience
