Senior Program Manager

In this role you will create cohesive project plans and develop relationships with multiple groups including engineering, solutions and operations, sister organizations and partners to provide a holistic view of the SDI business projects. We are a fast growing company and you will have the opportunity to roll-up your sleeves and help Intel SDI move from strategy to execution.

* Work closely with engineering managers, technical leads and project owners to drive project planning and execution of complex open source data center solutions and software development projects. * Ensure projects are well-planned, executed efficiently, and delivered with high quality. * Manage and maintain project information, including feature definition and scope, and delivery schedules. * Identify significant risks and unknowns, and define and drive resolution plans. * Manage cross team dependencies, and coordinate cross-team initiatives and blocking issues. * Track and ensure release criteria are met against project lifecycles. * Perform higher-level project tracking, reporting and metrics across Solutions and Engineering. * Drive information sharing, and capturing and disseminating of best practices across Engineering. * Demonstrate knowledge of open source ecosystems issues, industry, and business operations. * Work closely with Managers to ensure maintenance of the project backlog, release plans, and roadmaps are consistent. * Develop accountability with Solutions and Engineering teams.

* 8+ years in large-scale, data center software development projects, managing complex software projects within the open source community or cloud solutions companies. * Demonstrated ability to help teams define clear deliverables and meet them. Certified Scrum Master a plus. * Strong technical background, and ability to understand complex product/project functionality, design, and technical issues in order to drive priorities, trade-offs, and resolutions. Experience as a software developer providing contributions to open source community a plus. * Extremely well-organized with project information, attention to detail, and exacting quality standards. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, especially in the areas of teamwork and influencing skills, and ability to facilitate dynamic meetings and discussions. * Ability to manage and multi-task across multiple projects and teams. Experience working with remote teams. * Significant experience leading complex, cross-functional open source projects with multiple stakeholders; experience with a rapidly scaling business is a plus. * Strong relationship-building skills and experience working closely with senior executives. * Highly analytical, good at breaking down problems and delivering results. * Humble attitude: willing to shift from high-level strategic thinking, to rolling up your sleeves and supporting implementation. * Comfortable with ambiguity and a rapidly evolving business landscape. **Education** * Bachelor's degree in computer science or a technical field or equivalent experience. PMI certification is a plus.
