Summary
Description: The Director of Brand and Consumer Communications is responsible for integrated communications vision, strategy and execution for Intel's brand campaign and related global PR programs to drive broad mass media/consumer awareness of the company's amazing products and technologies. This newly created role and effort is a core pillar of a significant brand re-launch underway.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities: * Oversees and directs internal and external communications for brand strategy and activations: public relations, digital influencers, employee communications, events and promotions. * Strategic planning: utilizes market and competitive analysis, and related brand and product positioning. * Build and manage a small in-house team and significant global agency resources and programs. * Enhance storytelling by bringing Intel's brand, values and product experiences to life in new and unexpected ways. Establish market leadership position for our brand and thought leadership assets. * Manage the implementation of integrated communications plans to extend core communication strategies across all elements of the brand marketing mix. * Develop and track metrics and success criteria for all brand communications program activities. * Optimize and track annual marketing plan and budget for the marketing/communications/event program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance.
Ideal Candidate
Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, public relations or closely related discipline * Minimum 10 years directing consumer and brand communications, using a broad marketing mix (PR, digital, employee activation, etc.) of integrated approaches. * Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Director level position or above. * Minimum 5+ years of experience leading and directing an in-house and agency team * Proven success in launching/repositioning products in their respective markets preferably in the technology/telecommunications industries. * Fully conversant in digital and social influencer. * Experience in running global consumer PR campaigns. * Innovative and visionary thinker, as demonstrated by leadership capabilities and accomplishments. * Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to communicate across all stakeholder groups. * Demonstrated ability to manage outsourced communications activities, including work performed by agencies/consultants to create best-in-class global programs * Direct experience managing, building, and maintaining global brands.
