Validation Engineer

* Manage sterilization and cleaning system validations appropriate to standard requirements * Work with project team members and/or end users to establish product requirements as they relate to the functional area * Participate in risk management as it relates to the functional area * Provide appropriate documentation to support regulatory submissions, ISO certification, and Quality System adherence relating to functional area * Contribute to the development of product specifications, drawings, and other design output relating to functional area * Support manufacturing process development relating to the functional area * Provide/review information and documentation to outside vendors to facilitate production of parts and instrumentation relating to the functional area * Travel to industry trade shows, conventions, and off-site vendors to define and review functional related processes

* Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field from an accredited university or college is preferred * Entry level position or 1 to 3 years experience in field of implantable medical devices * Must have a functional knowledge and understanding of basic designing, and have a good level of proficiency with reading and understanding device drawings * Experience with Pro-Engineer or other design software is not required but preferable * Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, possess multitasking capability, be computer literate, and be able to work independently
