Client Executive

Headquartered in Hartford, CT, Insurity provides policy administration, claims, billing, and analytics software to more than 100 insurance companies - large and small, national or regional, commercial, personal, or specialty lines writers, as well as MGAs.

The role of the Client Executive is to serve as the primary customer contact for Insurity’ largest and most complex customers within Operations. The Client Executive is charged with ensuring quality and timeliness of product delivery and development and maintenance and customer satisfaction over new and existing systems for several different clients. The Client Executive works internally with Line of Business Managers, Project Managers, and the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the delivery of high quality, high value technology solutions to the business. The Client Executive strives to become the trusted advisor for their clients.

* Direct client support with executive oversight. * Responsible for day to day client services of multiple accounts, removing roadblocks, directing client questions to the appropriate parties, managing conflicting priorities amongst customers, and coordinating release management. * Direct responsibility for operations and technical aspects of account management. * Develop and maintain positive client relationships at the appropriate levels. * Assist in growing and expanding these relationships bringing in appropriate Insurity resources as appropriate to build those relationships. * Position both client and Insurity for strategic growth. * Ultimately responsible for customer satisfaction. * Identify gaps and recommendations for Insurity performance improvement on behalf of the client. * Lead in strategy planning and the continuous improvement of development and project processes. * Assist Operations management team with contract review and negotiation and SLA management. * Advise and consult with senior management and business unit leaders on the appropriate use of technology to drive business success. * Work with the Service Delivery Lead and VP of Operations as well as Sales, Legal, Shared Services, and QA. * Proactively look for and drive process improvement and quality improvement opportunities throughout Insurity.

* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, project management or related field. * Graduate level degree in Business (MBA), computer science, or PMP designation preferred Preferred **Experience & Training:** * 10+ years of software development management or comparable leadership position, within an IT organization with focus in strategic planning, development, implementation and maintenance of large-scale integrated web based systems. * Experience with technologies such as Client/Server, messaging, and Web Browsers. * Experience in Customer Service, preferably within the software and/or insurance industry. * Department management experience is a plus, as well as successful demonstration of sensitivity and commitment to business issues and problems. **Specific Skills:** * Expert knowledge of current IT tools and process disciplines. * In-depth understanding of software engineering and application development, software lifecycle. * Excellent project management skills. * Working knowledge of property and casualty insurance including specific experience in either personal or commercial insurance. * Strategic outlook mixed with operational focus. * Understanding of technology directions and trends. Excellent thought leader and visionary of future IT environment. * Ability to plan, manage and deliver tactical and strategic projects. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and organizational skills. * Ability to work with corporate and business unit executives as a key member of the executive team guiding the company concerning IT topics. * Strong and effective project management abilities applied in delivering solutions to satisfy business unit needs. * Leadership qualities to guide organization to achieve objectives.
