Summary
INRIX is seeking a VP of Quality to drive quality to the next level as well as represent Quality to our industry and our customers. The position will focus on every aspect and phase from inception to delivery and all related systems, structure and processes that impact quality regardless of function. The successful candidate is an experienced Quality Leader who has successfully built high performing global teams to deliver excellent products to the market. This position will report to the Chief Technical Officer (CTO) based in Kirkland, Washington. INRIX is a leading provider of real-time traffic information, connected car services and analytics worldwide. The company leverages big data analytics to reduce the individual, economic and environmental toll of traffic congestion. Through cutting-edge data intelligence and predictive traffic technologies, INRIX helps leading automakers, fleets, governments and news organizations make it easier for drivers to navigate their world. Responsibilities
* Partner with the Sales and other functional teams to understand customer quality requirements and metrics * Identify the appropriate metrics and KPIs to measure internal and customer quality outcomes and processes; present quality metrics to internal and external stakeholders (customers; partners) * Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, monitoring, and reporting of test results; close quality gaps * Maintain “Continuous Improvement” philosophy throughout the organization to challenge/improve the overall quality * Audit quality systems and processes for deficiencies and implement appropriate corrective actions; report results and recommendations to leadership team * Build a quality organization that resolves issues/problems while maintaining and meeting business requirements * Collaborate with other employees, managers, and teams to ensure high quality outcomes; provide strong quality support for design and development teams
Ideal Candidate
* 5 or more years of experience leading a Quality Team in the high tech industry with B2B and B2C products and services * Strong knowledge of QA concepts and methodologies ISO knowledge required; experience with Automotive SPICE preferred * Demonstrated success in company-wide quality policies, structure, systems, and procedures in a SaaS environment * Experience supporting global products and services a plus; experience in analytics and big data a plus * Excellent understanding of Product Development Process in a DevOps structure using Agile methodologies * Experience supporting global products and services a plus; experience in analytics and big data a plus * Global quality background in Automotive, Mobile, Telecom, Government, Media industries is a plus * Experience speaking and presenting to C-level executives at customers and strategic partners * Ability to work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial organization; results-oriented with a sense of urgency or passion * Ability to travel overnight up to 20% * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
