Senior Accountant

Performs complex accounting related work requiring full professional competency at a senior non-managerial level. Assists with monthly, quarterly and year end close, reconciles and analyzes accounts, assists in the implementation of process improvements and procedures. Works on problems of moderate to complex scope. Exercises considerable judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Interacts with other departments and vendors as necessary to resolve issues.

**Education:** * Bachelors degree in accounting or 4 years related external experience or 2 years related Ingram Micro experience. **Experience:** * Minimum of 4 to 5 years of related experience in a corporate accounting/ finance environment. Knowledge of: accounting, financial analysis, auditing, operations, distribution; ability to: meet deadlines, strong attention to detail; excellent PC skills including complex spreadsheet and database applications (Excel/Access) required. Must be a self starter who is self-motivated and self-directed in resolving any and all potential issues. Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
