Vice President Of Sales

Influenster is a product discovery platform and reviews site that enables consumers to find new products and get advice to make informed purchases. Members use Influenster to explore the latest products, gain fresh insight, pick up new tips, and share their opinions with others. We help our members compare products and guide them on how products can be integrated into their lives. We inspire a love for products and encourage discovery, conversations and reviews.

We're looking for a VP of Sales to lead our team of Business Development Managers and Account Executives. The VP of Sales will provide thought leadership on all sales matters, build and nurture client relationships, and continue the development of Influenster's sales strategy.

* Develop a business plan and sales strategy that ensures attainment of sales growth goals * Raise marketplace awareness of Influenster’s value proposition and capabilities * Build and nurture new relationships within existing clients and prospects at senior levels of the organization who are influencers, decision makers and/or budget holders * Provide thought leadership within our organization regarding effective selling practices and approaches * Uncover client needs, qualify leads, and provide benefit-based solutions that are compelling, differentiated and justifiable from an investment perspective * Collaborate with sales colleagues and the client delivery teams by providing leadership, partnering in the development of account growth strategies, and deepen relationships with client organizations * Manage and grow a multi-million dollar book of business

* Proven record of sales development * Excellent written and verbal, phone, face to face, and networking communication skills * 7+ years of sales experience - sales management experience preferred * Excellent team player
