Senior UX Manager

Influenster is a product discovery platform and reviews site that enables consumers to find new products and get advice to make informed purchases. Members use Influenster to explore the latest products, gain fresh insight, pick up new tips, and share their opinions with others. We help our members compare products and guide them on how products can be integrated into their lives. We inspire a love for products and encourage discovery, conversations and reviews.

As a Senior UX Manager, you'll lead the design process for new features working closely with our designers and project managers to deliver an elegant and engaging user experience. We’re looking for someone with excellent design instincts, a strong intuition for how consumers interact with our site, and a deep knowledge of today’s design tools to take on a key role in shaping the future of our product.

* Lead the UX production and compliance team, executing final use cases and wireframes/UI’s, requirement documents and UX analytics for all devices and OS experiences. * Design user interfaces and information architecture using participatory and iterative design techniques. * Work closely with product and technology teams to ensure that the product vision reflects the design specifications, and business needs. * Develop and nurture UX best practices and POV’s on industry perspectives.

* BS / BA in Design, Communications, Human-Computer Interaction, or interaction design, digital media design, fine arts, or related field. * 6+ years of experience within the field of product management, user experience design, UX research, customer experience analysis and design. * Consumer-facing platform experience is preferred. * Collaborative and team oriented work approach. * Mastery of UX Design principles and deliverables, including rapid prototyping, site maps, information architecture, user personas, wireframes, flows, etc. * Experience managing others in UX design methodologies and best practices.
