Whether those consumers are activating prepaid products, paying bills, enjoying real-time discounts through a membership card, purchasing digital goods in-store or adding funds to an online account.
- Gather, analyze, define and document business & functional requirements.
- Ability to combine business acumen with technical aptitude.
- Assist business owners in defining project scope, and manage scope changes from business stakeholders.
- Provide support for business areas by means of research, analysis, testing, documentation, and training.
- Participate fully in the project development process, contributing to the development, enhancement and maintenance of company and vendor systems on various platforms.
- Participate in meetings where business requirements are developed.
- Facilitate discussions with key stakeholders in establishing requirements and goals.
- Document and organize requirements in a logical fashion.
- Shape requirements into valuable business solutions and presentations using strong documentation skills.
- Obtain approval of business requirements from the customer.
- Coordinate with project managers to meet project deliverables and implementation schedules.
- Work with a diverse team of IT personnel to perform problem resolution, identify and define system requirements, actors, and interactions based on scope of work.
- Communicate and coordinate with the QA team to ensure business and functional requirements are met during the testing phase.
- Lead the root cause analysis and resolution for complex problems.
- Assume responsibility for definable projects.
- Ability to analyze a problem, communicate findings, identify possible options, and create documented artifacts of the overall process.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum 2 – 3 years business analysis experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS/CS or equivalent work experience.
- Superior verbal and written communications a must.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio).
- Exposure to the following technical areas is a must: Java, XML, and SQL.
- Must have hands-on SQL experience - Understanding of database concepts and ability to write simple to queries
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with at least one programming language preferred. E.g. Java, C
- Experience in case analysis, creating use cases and use case diagrams, Sequence / Flow and Test cases.
- High-level of creativity, adaptability and persistence to find the best solutions.
- Experience documenting business requirements and artifacts.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and basic project methodology.
- Possesses general understating in the areas of application programming, database and system design.
- Experience with analyzing and solving problems of a complex nature.
- Ability to understand and gain subject matter expertise in systems supporting the InComm business.
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to effectively work with others in a team and matrix environment.
- Effective problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
