Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain our monetization platform * Value quality and know how to balance that with pace * Work closely with Product and Design to deliver an intuitive ad platform that our end users love
Ideal Candidate
* BS (or higher) in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience * Experience working on ad tech architecture and ad products * 8+ years of professional experience with backend development. We use PHP, Go, Javascript, and node.js, but we are language-agnostic - you will have a say in what technology we should use going forward * Experience building and deploying quality code to monetize products. You will deploy our ads with confidence! * Experience with Agile methodologies and automated testing – we use TravisCI to test and deploy our code * Experience working on microservice-oriented architecture a big plus! **About you:** * You are a senior/principal/architect-level software engineer who has significant backend engineering experience. * You are passionate about your work and excited about working on products that millions of users will see. * You enjoy being involved in the conversation around technology and product decisions and aren’t afraid to voice your opinions to help improve the product.
