QA Tester

Imgur is the world’s largest image-sharing community and the best place to share and enjoy the most awesome images on the internet. Every day, millions of people visit Imgur to be entertained and inspired by funny, heartwarming and helpful images and stories from all around the world.

We are building out our first team dedicated solely to QA and we are looking for passionate team players that obsess over delivering the very best quality products. As a QA tester at Imgur and a founding member of the QA team, you will get to work on the full-cycle of manual testing across teams to create strategy, write plans, execute tests, and log and verify bugs.

* Work with Engineering, Design, Product, and Support teams to design, own, and deliver on test plans for new features and functionality * Work with Support and Product teams to identify bugs that exist in the wild and help prioritize fixes * Regression testing our iOS, Android, and Web offerings to make sure we are shipping a product we are proud of * Find ways to reproduce issues so Engineering team can find solutions to them * Provide immediate feedback to engineers and work with them to improve the product

* Experience with writing test cases * Experience with issue tracking systems such as GitHub or Jira * Ability to clearly and thoroughly communicate reproduction steps and other critical information * Ability to work well with and collaborate with a large variety of teams and people * Basic understanding of how HTTP requests work and app infrastructure **Bonus:** * Familiarity with scripting languages such as python * Familiarity with Continuous Integration solutions such as Travis, Jenkins, or Circle CI * Familiarity with iOS/Android/Web Development
