Field Service Engineer

* Follows prescribed rules for safety, maintaining workareas, tools and/or equipment, machines, automobiles, laptops or other companyproperty. * Utilizes product manuals, engineering drawings, andtechnical bulletins to install, operate, troubleshoot, and repair ITW Diagraphequipment at customer locations. * Contacts Help Desk Technicians, FST IIs. Senior FSTs, orField Service Managers for technical assistance. * Utilizes electrical tools (multimeter, oscilloscope, andoutlet tester) to measure electrical/grounding characteristics of ITW Diagraphequipment when instructions are provided. * Utilizes mechanical tools to install, assemble,disassemble, repair, or troubleshoot ITW Diagraph equipment. * Utilizes laptop in conjunction with specialized softwareto configure and troubleshoot ITW Diagraph supported equipment. * Maintains work schedule and works with internalresources to complete company objectives. Routinely utilizes company email, CRM package, and other providedcommunication tools for activity/statusupdates. * Offers/sells equipment contracts to customers * Maintain focus on continuous improvement by applying keyLean Manufacturing, 80/20, PLS, and USa productionprinciples/techniques and makes process improvement recommendations tosupervision.

**Education:** * High School Diploma (or GED) and a 2 year Technical Degree/Certificationin Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical field or equivalent technical workexperience required. **Experience:** * Must have Field Service experience * 0-3 years related experience required; equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. * Excellent Problem Solving/Troubleshooting and Attention To Detail Skills * Mechanical Aptitude * Time Management, Prioritization & Follow Up skills * Customer Service, Sales, and Negotiation skills * Good basic math and reading skills. * Excellent Oral/Written communication skills are required * High Motivation, Initiative, and Interpersonal Skills * Good Teamwork Skills * Tolerance for working in stressful situations and environments * Proficient in the knowledge and use of MS Office (Word, Excel).
