Summary
With the announcement of our new International On Demand offering, we are looking for a technically strong Engineering Program Manager to join our team. You'll be hands on with builds, deployments, Github, CI, AWS, and internal tooling. Opportunities exist to pitch in when it makes sense, especially with internal tools or side projects that make life for the teams better or solve interesting problems. Boundaries of what EPM does with and for a team at iHeart are largely based on what each manager can contribute to the individual teams they manage and does not follow, nor set, a mold for future project work. The only constant is that you have responsibility for keeping the team moving together, unblocked, and happy with the decisions they’ve made.
Responsibilities
You’ll have early access to the latest and greatest from Google, Apple, and Samsung as you work with teams building our iOS and Android apps, websites, and our backend services. Day to day you’ll be writing and improving development stories with Product and Engineering and tracking progress of stories and defects in each build along with partners in Product, Design and Test Engineering. Sometimes it will be Engineering led efforts, sometimes it will be Product taking the lead. You’ll be working hands on with engineers and their leadership to help solve problems across product features, platform features, and general infrastructure.
Ideal Candidate
* Recent Development experience:Java/Scala/Python/JS/Go/Rust/Swift or similar language * Engineering team leadership experience * Experience leading partnerships between Engineering and other teams such as product, marketing, project management, etc. in addition to leadership/stakeholders * Track record of successfully delivering engineering projects * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
