Summary
Our team is growing and we are seeking a seasoned Javascript Developer to join our team to build triple-A quality casino games and social features. We’re building a scalable platform, for our non-gambling, virtual currency casino, as well as building multi- and single player games in house. If you are passionate about joining an awesome team to build our large-scale game application, we want to talk with you!
Responsibilities
* Develop game and feature content using HTML5/JavaScript and other technologies. * Understand our current strategy, our challenges and our successes. * Define a vision that makes us better at delivering the right solutions in a timely fashion with high quality and a great user experience. * Work towards optimization and best practices, increase performance of our application. * Make the team better – Bring your skills and experience to our team and help us take our game to the next level!
Ideal Candidate
* Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming, and Design Patterns for Games and Web Applications * Experience with and passion for JavaScript, including a solid understanding of prototypal inheritance, pseudo classical patterns, and modular JS patterns. * Proficiency in at least one OOP language like Java, C++, C#, AS3 * 8+ years of development experience * Computer Science Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience **Preferred Qualifications** * Familiarity with current generation Javascript frameworks like Google Closure, LimeJS, AngularJS, Backbone, PixieJS, Starling etc. * Solid Experience with Distributed Version Control (Mercurial) a plus * Solid Experience in Test, logging, documentation a plus * Special requirements needed Pass a background check **Keys To Success** * Deliver exceptional customer service * Demonstrate accountability and integrity * Develop successful relationship * Embrace change * Demonstrate business savvy
