Lead Software Engineer - AEM (Adobe Experience Manager)/ Adobe CQ

Description: iCrossing is looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to lead development efforts for highly visible, cutting edge consumer facing websites built on the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) CMS Platform for highly recognized and distinguished consumer brands. We are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Java engineer with deep experience developing and leading projects on the AEM platform/ Adobe CQ5 including the full software lifecycle of site planning, template design, custom component development, end to end testing, and deployment.

Responsibilities: * Lead website development efforts with a specialization on the Adobe AEM CMS platform * Work closely with and manage the technical team to ensure project deliverables and milestones are met * Mentor the technical team * Work closely with PM and other discipline leads to ensure project health and success * Interact with client on a regular basis - both technical and non technical client resources

Qualifications: * Proven experience in delivering enterprise level website development using Adobe AEM / Adobe CQ5 * Expert with Adobe AEM Solutions and technologies * AEM Lead Developer & Component Developer certifications highly desired * Experience with Agile development methodologies * Strong communication skills * Strong tech management skills * Able to communicate with client tech representatives * Agency or consulting experience * Experience with large branded websites * Solid understanding of the Maven build system * Ability to understand client business and explain technical solutions to non technical audience * Experience defining REST APIs and implementing RESTful services * Technologies * Expert with Adobe AEM * Expert with Adobe CQ * Expert with Sling * Expert with JCR * Expert with JEE * Expert with OSGi * Fullstack web development experience preferred * Strong background in relational databases and SQL; MySQL and Oracle experience is a plus
