Software Engineer

ICI Services is seeking an experienced Software Engineer who will be responsible for integration, installation and checkout of Mission Package software in support of the US Navy's LCS Program. The ideal candidate will be well versed in both Windows and Linux Operating Systems, network configuration, troubleshooting complex computer system and network issues, and have the ability to complete tasks in a timely and practical manner with minimal supervision. The position requires an ability to work on or off of US navy sites, and could involve short notice requirements to ride US Navy ships.

* Perform computer operating system installation, configuration and DoD Software installation * Perform Network configuration * Conduct integration, installation and configuration of complex computer system/hardware packages * Participate in Working group and Technical review meetings * Provide integration engineering services for LCS Mission Package Software/hardware with the Mission Package Computing Environment (MPCE) and the LCS seaframe computing environment and external communications. * Support Pre-installation checkout for Mission Package Software (MPAS). * Support System checkout/operational test (SOVT) and integration of the MPAS with the gun and Multi-Vehicle Control systems. * Provide on-site and distance support for preventive and corrective maintenance on the MPAS and MPCE. * Provide support for pre-embark console operational checks and for updates to MPAS installation procedures and manuals. * Assist the Mission Package Lead Engineer with addressing technical and engineering related issues arising during installation and checkout * Coordinate delivery and assist with installation and removal of MPAS and MPCE and associated hardware * Draft, update and review technical documentation and status reports

* BA/BS in computer science, math, science, or related field **Experience Requirements:** * 5 years experience supporting US Navy afloat hardware/software is required, 10 years desired. * Proficiency in both Windows and Linus OS is required **Other Requirements:** * Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
