Summary
The Medical Sieve grand challenge research project has urgent need for a system administrator for Linux (Redhat) and Windows systems to support a team of researchers and software developers. Experience with maintaining Java-based web applications and Representational State Transfer (REST) services is needed. Knowledge of system backups, source code control systems, and web server maintenance is needed. Experience with maintaining clusters or with cloud computing (e.g. Bluemix) a plus.
Responsibilities
The Systems Administrator should have a BS in Computer Science or related engineering field. Experience with maintaining Jenkins/Maven/Artifactory a plus. Experience with maintaining DevOps systems is desirable. Ideal Candidate
* Required Technical and Professional Expertise * At least 2 years experience in Linux system administration * At least 1 year experience in support of Java-based web applications * At least 1 year experience in cluster administration or cloud administration * English: Intermediate * Preferred Technical and Professional Experience * At least 4 years experience in Linux system administration * At least 2 years experience in support of Java-based web applications * English : Fluent * Required Education * Bachelor's Degree * Preferred Education * None
