Senior Data Modeler

The IBM Client Innovation Center in Baton Rouge has immediate opportunities for an Senior Data Modeling Specialist. Upgrade from PerformancePoint Server (PPS) to Oracle data modeler - use Oracle Data Warehouse (DWH) but different front end for reporting - use Informatica Extract Transform Load (ETL). Will go on Microsoft Data Warehouse (MS DWH) / SQL server. We need someone with Structured Query Language (SQL) skills (vs. Oracle Database). Translates business needs into a data model, providing expertise on data modeling tools and techniques for designing data models for applications and related systems. The candidate's skills include logical and physical data modeling including tools like ERwin. The candidate needs to have communication skills, business process knowledge, and technical skills. The candidate also needs to have sturdy problem determination knowledge and experiences in the IT field.

* Bachelor's Degree * At least 5 years experience in working experience in a data modeling role * At least 5 years experience in Extract Transform Load (ETL) using Informatica * At least 5 years experience in Structure Query Lanuage (SQL) * At least 4 years experience in working experience with enterprise data warehouse projects * At least 4 years experience in working experience with Oracle * Readiness to travel Up to 3 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements) * English: Basic knowledge **Preferred Technical and Professional Experience** * At least 9 years experience in working experience in a data modeling role * At least 7 years experience in Extract Transform Load (ETL) using Informatica * At least 9 years experience in Structure Query Lanuage (SQL) * At least 5 years experience in working experience with enterprise data warehouse projects * At least 5 years experience in working experience with Oracle * English : Intermediate
