Performance Tester

• provide Performance, Stress, and Soak Test procedures as required by each release
• provide Level of Effort assessments for each of the required tests per release
• provide On time execution of Plan vs. Actual test scenarios executed
• drive the test plan to completion escalating risk immediately
• provide Weekly Test Metrics (includes test scenario progress charts) to Test Manager
• participate in weekly/daily performance meeting(s) with lead architects and engineers
• ensure meeting minutes are taken and sent out within 24 hours of all performance meetings

This position requires the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Government security clearance of Secret.

• at least 1 year of experience in performance test execution
• at least 1 year of experience in system performance test (performance, stress, soak) planning
• at least 1 year of experience performance test design, gathering test data requirements, and working around test environment constraints
• at least 1 year of experience in collaborating with other Test Leads, Lead Architects and Lead Engineers

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• 1 year of experience in Rational Performance tester (HP Load Runner)
• 1 year of experience in Java
• 1 year of experience in Java Script
