Junior QA Specialist

HZDG, is an independent branding and design digital agency with an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team. We are looking for great and passionate Junior Quality Assurance Specialist who is interested in learning new stuff every day. The ideal candidate must be an extremely detail oriented self-starter who works well individually as well as in a collaborative team.

* Developing Test Plans & Test Cases * Manual and automated QA testing * Database testing of ETL processes * Bug-tracking software * Author and maintain tests plans and test cases based on functional requirements, information architecture, interactive wireframes and verbal communications. * Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases (Functional, Regression, Integration etc.) and report test results. * Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements. * Help us develop a flexible and reusable test framework and improve processes that will allow for quickly setting up new projects. * Manage defects and issues for multiple business applications and simultaneous development cycles. * Work with Development and Product teams to negotiate defect prioritization to implement high quality technical solutions

* You should be a generalist and problem solver who likes challenge and is comfortable working in a dynamic environment. * Proven ability to write regression automated scripts in any language for Selenium Web Driver. * Ability to manually test websites, mobile apps and other device driven software using exploratory testing techniques. * Strong understanding of all web browsers and different mobile device marketshare, versions and functionality. * Ability to write simple code such as HTML and CSS (is a PLUS) * Ability to accurately estimate and plan QA tasks * High energy level, strong team player and good work ethic * Deep analytical and problem solving skills * Manage defects and issues for multiple business applications and simultaneous development cycles. * Work with Development and Product teams to negotiate defect prioritization to implement high quality technical solutions.
