Product Engineer

At HyperScience we bring AI to the office. Our software takes over menial work that people are doing today and frees them to focus on more complex tasks. We believe that AI is destined to be the biggest event in the history of human labor since the Industrial Revolution, and we want to be a part of it.

We're looking for a motivated, creative product engineer to craft new applications and features that are highly functional and easy to use. This is an opportunity to own front-end engineering for one of our fastest-growing products and set product engineering standards for our company as we scale. Our product engineer should embody the tech team’s values -- a quick learner who can dive into the weeds of complex problems, see the big picture, and take ownership of projects.

* Collaborate with backend engineering and product design to conceptualize and implement user interfaces * Take ownership of user-facing products and functionality * Deliver compelling proof-of-concepts for customers * Take active role in choosing the most suitable technology and framework for our growing products

* BA/BS in a relevant field (CS, engineering, etc) or equivalent hands-on experience * Experience with JavaScript and familiarity with a framework - we use ReactJS * Comfortable with CSS / CSS3: LESS, SASS, Media Queries * Strong design sensibility and user empathy * Problem-solver with the ability to pivot from one project to the next quickly and seamlessly * Team player with strong communication skills
