Summary

As a Billing & Enrollment Specialist you will: address and resolve non-routine customer and partner concerns directly, with regulators and with employers, reporting your findings to the appropriate business and functional areas to drive process and product enhancements.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to barriers to perfect service in a consistent fashion, adhering to all regulatory requirements and internal processing timelines and guidelines
  • Collect, analyze and interpret trend information to address and resolve non-routine business-related concerns
  • Build Humana’s brand image with employers, members, brokers, consultants, physicians, hospitals, regulators and legislators by providing effective and efficient service
Ideal Candidate

Role Essentials

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Medicare and guidelines
  • Data entry skills and an analytical mindset
  • Capacity to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to multi-task, detail oriented, with strong written & verbal communication
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong proof reading and editing skills

Role Desirables

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or a related field
  • Strong MS Access experience
  • Previous Enrollment experience
  • Previous audit experience
  • Bilingual Spanish & English
Compensation and Working Conditions
Reports to Frontline leader or a department manager
