Summary
Hughes is seeking a Senior Channel Marketing Specialist for our Germantown, Maryland location. As a result of establishing Hughes as a Distributor for HughesNet Dealers in the East, an additional Channel Marketing Specialist is required to support the channel. This position requires a marketing generalist who has experience initiating, developing, implementing and analyzing marketing programs, and will support the consumer retail channel marketing efforts.
Responsibilities
* Marketing Programs/Campaigns * Manage the Channel Marketing programs calendar to ensure all activities occur as planned and that campaigns and projects are executed on time * Track program results to inform and drive future effective and cost-efficient programs * Design metrics and processes for reporting on marketing activities, programs, and campaigns to measure success/return on investment (ROI) * Identify gaps in channel efforts and recommend solutions * Evaluate marketing program fund requests brought forward by the field * Identify and work to solvechannel churn issues * Create and execute an online strategy for local Retailers * Deliver integrated Retail Channel digital marketing programs in alignment with company strategies
Ideal Candidate
**Basic Requirements:** * Bachelors degree in Marketing or a related field is required * 8+ Years of Marketing experience **Preferred Qualifications:** * Familiarity working with an indirect/retail channel a positive * The ideal candidate will be familiar with online advertising and basic understanding of campaign costs, response rates, and the ability to tailor placements to meet campaign objects and goals. * Familiarity with email, display, social, and other marketing tactics is a must * The ability to discern great marketing copy from the mediocre is recommended * Ability to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently * Demonstrated ability to think analytically, solve problems, make decisions and use sound judgment * Must have good communication skills
