From directing and controlling all field operations to ensuring construction activities are conducted safely, you will play a key role in delivering quality multi-million dollar projects on-time, within budget, and in compliance with associated regulations.
Responsibilities
* Lead weekly subcontractor meetings, as well as all safety and progress meetings. * Develop/maintain construction schedules using CPM schedule program. * Ensure compliance with applicable code/safety regulations, and enforce safety policies. * Monitor material flow to jobsites and control field office general conditions costs. * Establish/maintain relationships with owners, inspection authorities, and other parties. * Organize project records including: subcontracts, change orders, permits, and drawings.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in construction management/related field; or similar practice/training. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Primavera P6, and Procore. * PMP and/or LEED accreditation desired. * 3-5 years construction management experience with multi-million dollar projects. * Well-versed in safety and government regulations (i.e., OSHA) as they relate to a jobsite. * Comprehensive knowledge of construction codes and ordnances. * Reasonable budgetary skills with experience in managing budgets and costs effectively. **Additional Requirements:** * To perform the duties of this job, you will occasionally need to lift or move up to 50 pounds; you will be regularly exposed to adverse conditions (including, but not limited to bad weather, dust, and noise) and required to talk, hear, stand, and walk long distances; and you must be able to get around sites and buildings under construction, which includes climbing stairs and ladders.
