Responsibilities
* Help us as we relentlessly build, evolve and scale the applications, infrastructure, and tools that power our mobile apps * Develop, modify, and maintain our e-commerce platform, focusing on reliability, speed, and user experience * Constantly improve our current codebase to make it better and faster, leveraging the best tools out there * Own the delivery and deployment of the services you build into our containerized production cluster * Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, designers, supply teams, and marketers to iterate on and improve user and internal-facing products * Actively participate in code review process maintaining the standard of code quality * Evaluate and experiment with new technologies that can be added to our tech stack to solve the hairiest of problems
Ideal Candidate
* 2-5+ years experience with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks * Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, Postgres), data warehouses, and NoSQL solutions * Has scaled and maintained high-traffic, service-oriented production systems * Problem solver and creative thinker who will take an idea and build it * Comfortable questioning the status quo and testing ideas via prototypes * Analytical and detail-oriented but pragmatic * Innately curious about how things work and could be improved * The ability to empathize with users of the products you build * Excellent communication and cross-collaboration
