Senior Android Engineer

• Take ownership of features from start to end; shipping beautiful Android products
• Review high-level product requirements and help create technical specs to shape the direction of the product
• Work with our design team to craft the perfect Material Design experience
• Provide mentorship and learning opportunities to other members of the engineering team
• Collaborate with our partners to be among the first to roll out unique, Android first features (Android Pay, App Streaming, etc).

• You’ve shipped one or more products to the Play Store (include links for review)
• Experience - solid understanding of the benefits and challenges of building in the Android ecosystem
• Flexibility - comfortable working outside of the standard Android toolset to get things done
• Problem solving - able to evaluate technical approaches to problems and provide viable alternative solutions
• Design oriented - empathetic to the end user experience and wonder what we can do to make it better
• Communication - clearly and effectively communicate with leadership and others of varying technical levels
• Team player - you’re in it for the team, not just yourself!
