Engineer Principal

* Support HTF7000 control system bench testing for system validation and certification * Support the creation of test plans and test procedures and evaluate test data * Support development and validation of control system requirements and logic * Help create the related certification documentation necessary for FAA approval * The candidate must focus on the importance of customer responsiveness, meeting program milestones on schedule, and minimizing cost and cycle time while improving product quality

* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or similar * Minimum of 8 Years of digital control systems development * Due to export control, candidate must be a US Citizen or lawful permanent resident of the US. **Additional Qualifications:** * Basic understanding of gas turbine engines is desirable * Facilitate interpersonal relationships and teambuilding with project and test cell personnel and support * Ability to promote customer satisfaction with capability to establish effective working relationships with internal customers, and test personnel * Able to perform multiple tasks with minimal oversight and is interested in expanding his/her capabilities * Demonstrated capability to perform control system testing or related work * Interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams * Take prudent risks, use appropriate assertiveness * Familiarity with DO-178, DO-160, ARP4754 is a plus
