Responsibilities
What You Will Be Responsible for: Leading Honeywell User Experience (HUE) globally across the Aerospace Services business. Definition and execution of global HUE design strategy for Services aligned to Aerospace and corporate objectives. Work closely with Aerospace Services Leadership & HUE Design COE to develop and implement a brand architecture and design language for the Aerospace Services family of offerings. Collaborating with Aerospace Services Leadership to incorporate HUE in strategic and annual operating plans Scoping, estimating and developing HUE resource plans for Aerospace Services HUE projects. Providing a clear, consistent voice on end-to-end user experience design to project teams and stakeholders. Facilitate/Lead user experience design and ideation sessions Represent HUE as a functional decision maker at project reviews and tollgates You have "a seat at the table." Collaborating with Aerospace HUE Design Studios and Design COEs & disciplines in developing world class experiences. Collaborate with Aerospace HUE Design leaders to define roadmaps for next generation user experiences and design strategies. Contributing to Experience Design best practices throughout the product development process. Collaborating with other Aerospace HUE Design studios/COEs to recruit and develop talent, and promote an Esprit de Corps for a growing world-class organization. Ideal Candidate
As a HUE Enterprise Leader, you will need to have the following talents, skills and experiences: Strong portfolio of applying user-centered design practices in product & software development. Demonstrated leadership experience working with business and technology leaders to set strategic and annual operating plans. Demonstrated experience scoping, planning and executing projects in accordance with an iterative development process. Demonstrated experience working closely with Design Teams to drive design requirements. Experience in understanding and synthesizing consumer needs using a variety of practices. Experience in design strategy, consumer trends and how they apply to product planning. Experience in evaluating products using: design trends, heuristic reviews, competitive benchmarking, formative and summative usability studies. Demonstrable talent in designing industry-leading user experiences and product designs. Experience developing low-fidelity to high-fidelity appearance models and prototypes to support iterative product design. Experience directing and managing external design firms and model shops. Clear evidence of leadership and the ability to get things done in a matrix environment. International experience working with regional businesses, engineering and design teams.
