Event Marketing Intern

The Event Marketing team is looking for an Event Marketing Intern to help develop and design on site brand activation needs for events and sponsorships being executed this summer while measuring and documenting relevant event performance metrics through internal platforms. As the Event Marketing Intern you will work across a number of functions such as PR, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Social Media, Integrated Marketing, Brand, Marketing Operations and IT to formalize plans.

* You will help with HomeAway’s involvement with Austin City Limits Tapings including on site activation execution and HomeAway brand ambassador functions. * You will help with our Austin City Limits Festival Sponsorship specifically with the design and development of backstage, AKL and general population experience. * You will help with performance documentation for our activation at Destination Races this summer. * You will help with the creative studio brief and deliverables for Partner Summit. * You will develop and maintain the Event Marketing wiki page.

* You are pursuing a Bachelor’s in Business, Marketing or related field. * You have an interest in Event Marketing. * You preferably have prior experience with other marketing internships, ideally within event marketing. * You are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously. * You have a proven success record of owning a project start to finish. * You have strong verbal & written communication skills.
