Retail Field Manager

For over 50 years, Home Market Foods has provided superior quality food products -- from our beginnings as a purveyor of fresh meats, to our current position as a major specialty provider of fully cooked and frozen, meals, appetizers, and snacks for both retail and foodservice customers.

The Retail Field Manager will represent Home Market Foods at the store level through demonstrations, as well as interactions with customers and store managers. The Retail Field Manager will also lead retail field work by completing reports, communicating frequent updates to the sales team, and assisting with merchandising and shelf position.

**Retail Field Sales (75%)** * Organize and host in-store retail demonstrations * Coordinate with store managers and demo coordinators on schedules, product levels and demo guidelines * Communicate success stories, key learning's and other activities to Field Marketing Manager * Participate in customer food shows * Improve space and position for HMF products * Monitor account sales promotions to assist in communicating future sales lifts for similar promotions * Monitor and report competitive activity to appropriate sales management * Complete period reports, yearly business reviews, and conduct special projects as requested * Implement suggested schematics at all grand opening and store resets * Perform other duties assigned **Brand Ambassador (25%)** * Ensure focus on branded HMF products through proper merchandising and utilizing point of sales materials * Create a unique customer experience to increase brand awareness and build customer loyalty * Host marketing events relevant to the brand and to the region * Positively engage the public and represent the brand in a highly positive manner

* BA or BS degree, as well as 3 years of related experience * Understanding of the relevant markets and surrounding areas. Candidate must live in the NY Tri State area * Willingness to travel daily within the Tri-State area, including some overnight travel * Must have valid driver's license * Strong team player but also possess the ability to work independently * Proficiency in Microsoft Office * Ability to work weekends * Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
