Summary
The Marketing Manager is an essential member of the PFC team and will help define the future of the brand through the development and positioning of new products from ideation to sale. Other responsibilities include: fostering meaningful consumer connections with the company brand via product and digital marketing channels, working to differentiate Perfect Fuel from the competition, increasing market share among target consumers, and leading the management, planning, and execution of both short- and long-term business and marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
* Lead cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, operations, purchasing) in the product life cycle from strategy to production * Identify new selling opportunities for Perfect Fuel Chocolate * Collaborate on the formulation of new products and improve existing products, based upon input from consumers and customers * Utilize proven communication, collaboration and negotiation skills to establish effective relationships with vendors, suppliers and outsourced functions * Coordinate plant trials for new products and first production runs * Demonstrate an understanding of supplement label development and regulatory compliance * Design, position and coordinate consumer promotions, shopper marketing and experiential/sampling events * Support the design and copy for ads and press releases * Develop and implement a consumer-relevant and digitally-savvy online marketing strategy * Develop and implement solid media strategies that meet acquisition and retention goals
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor's degree in a business related field * 5+ years of experience in food/beverage development * Proven track record in designing digital marketing strategies and executing for success * Current resources and contacts within the "Natural CPG" industry are a plus * Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products * Willingness to travel as necessary
