Summary
Responsible for gathering and analyzing financial information, assessing trends, and providing recommendations and effective predictions to assist individuals in making good operational decisions that produce favorable financial results.
Responsibilities
**Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities** * Analyzes business operating reports (profit and loss financial data, sales information, etc) and conduct variance analysis for multiple operational groups. * Extracts data from general ledger and functional databases (Marketing, Sales, etc.) for analysis. * Assists with the analysis of data for various internal customers related to sales, margin, payables/receivables, cash, etc. Establishes trends and projections related to the above. * Prepares written summaries of findings and presents/reviews with Supervisor. May participate in review meetings with senior level management. * Participates in budget preparation and year end activities. * Prepares daily, monthly, quarterly and annual summaries for input to various business partners. Examines and analyzes reports for accuracy and ensures all data is complete. * Other duties, responsibilities, and qualifications may be required and/or assigned as necessary. * Constantly look for ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP & A department. * Development of standard financial reports as required. * Work on special projects as assigned. **Other Job Duties And Responsibilities** * Perform all work assigned for the agreed-upon monthly wage accepting no additional payment or non-perishable gifts from residents, vendors, Management Team, or others. * Meet the assigned work requirements of the job. Regular attendance is required. * Ability to keep all business and operations information confidential. * Desire and ability to be a team player. * Effectively communicate in English.
Ideal Candidate
* Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field preferred. * Previous experience with Hyperion/Essbase helpful. * Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, Access and Word. * Developed organizational skills and ability to communicate verbally and in writing. * Minimum 3 years experience in finance/accounting industry required. * Superior organizational skills required, with ability to develop short and long-range goals. * Must demonstrate the ability to support, practice and deliver the “Holiday Touch” 100% of the time. * Must demonstrate high standards of ethics and personal accountability.
