Community Staff Accountant

We have a rewarding opportunity for experienced accounting professional, in the role of Staff Accountant you will provide accurate and relevant financial accounting information in a timely manner for Holiday Retirement and its related business entities.

* Prepare and properly document journal entries. * Perform reconciliation of accounts and various financial analyses, as assigned. * Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. * Assist with documentation and monitoring of internal controls. * Prepare and track accruals and accrual entries. * Assist in preparation of audit schedules/packages. * Work on special assignments, as assigned. * Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

* Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in accounting is required. * Some work experience in financial accounting preferred. * Possess a working knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). * Ability to independently develop and complete projects. * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet departmental deadlines. * Excellent verbal/written communication and customer service skills. * Proficiency in computer use and relevant software applications. * Must demonstrate the ability to support, practice and deliver the "Holiday Touch" 100% of the time. * Must demonstrate high standards of ethics and personal accountability.
