Runner for Creative

In 1970, entrepreneurs David and Barbara Green, along with their young family, began making miniature picture frames in their garage. A few years later, on August 3, 1972, the Green family opened the first Hobby Lobby store with a mere 300 square feet of retail space. Hobby Lobby has not stopped growing since.

The Art/Creative Department at Hobby Lobby’s Corporate Offices is looking to hire an energetic, productive, team-oriented candidate for the role of Runner for our Creative teams.

This position is at our Oklahoma City Corporate Office location ONLY and no relocation assistance is offered.

• Duties for the Runner include assisting creative operations and completing tasks required for successful project execution.

• Be responsible for assisting all Creative teams with:

  • Product purchases
  • Supply purchases
  • Pick up and deliveries

Skills:

• Outstanding organizational, planning, and troubleshooting skills
• Positive temperament and attitude that works well with a diversity of people
• Knowledge of current industry trends related to themes, colors, patterns, textures, and fabrics used for furniture design, home décor, jewelry, etc. (preferred)
• Efficient at multi-tasking
• Work well under pressure with strong attention to detail
• Welcome and apply creative input and/or feedback
• Flexible and open to a diverse and fluctuating workload
• Ability to work both self-sufficiently and in a team environment

Requirements

• Good MVR
• High School Diploma Required
• Reliable Transportation
