Copywriter

In 1970, entrepreneurs David and Barbara Green, along with their young family, began making miniature picture frames in their garage. A few years later, on August 3, 1972, the Green family opened the first Hobby Lobby store with a mere 300 square feet of retail space. Hobby Lobby has not stopped growing since.

The Copywriter creates engaging product descriptions that are rich with keywords for HobbyLobby.com. This role will be highly motivated, organized and able to multi-task while managing a diverse workload.

* Create captivating product descriptions for the E-Commerce website in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with tight deadlines, while keeping the Hobby Lobby brand in mind. * Ensure accurate descriptions by observing product details, testing, researching and measuring products. * Work closely with the Customer Service Department to ensure descriptions are properly updated. * Partner closely with other team members to ensure consistency.

* Must have excellent written communication skills * Excellent eye for attention to detail * Must have an understanding of how and why people shop online and what they look for * Willingness to learn & master new tasks quickly * Have strong organizational and time management skills * Adapt to new situations quickly * Must be able to work on a PC * Familiarity with art & craft products and Hobby Lobby brands a plus * Ability to work independently as well as take direction in a team environment
