Senior Graphic Designer

This position designs and coordinates the development of a wide range of print and multimedia materials. Creates original graphic design and comprehensive layout concepts and coordiantes production of materials. May oversee the work of less experienced staff members.

• Design and coordinate the development of a wide range of print and multimedia materials.
• Create original graphic design and comprehensive layout concepts and coordinates production of materials.
• May oversee the work of less experienced graphic designers.
• Works with marketing coordinators and technical staff in a deadline-driven environment to design and create all graphics for the department, including proposals, advertisements, brochures, presentation materials and infographics.
• Demonstrate creative problem solving to create compelling graphics and illustrate complex messages, often with minimal guidance
• Ensure that corporate brand identity guidelines and best practices are maintained throughout the graphics and marketing collateral created within the department
• Work with clients (internal and external) to understand needs and to develop direction, concept and specifications for assigned projects.
• Coordinate with contract corporate vendor for printing/publication services as appropriate per project, per office.
• Coordinate and maintain electronic graphics/photo library using local office and national corporate resources.
• Evaluate and coordinate with outside print vendors, as warranted, aligning project requirements including scope and budget.
• Determine which approach to take in design or print/multimedia materials to best serve client needs.
• Perform other graphic design activities as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Art, Graphic Design, or related discipline, plus a minimum of 5 years of graphic design experience.
• Strong working knowledge in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Keynote required.
• Strong Understanding of grid systems and typography
• Knowledge of Flash and ActionScript 3.0 a plus.
