Document Controls Specialist II

The time is right to join HNTB! We are currently seeking a Document Control Specialist II in our Rosenberg, Texas project office working on the SH 36 ROW project.

* Administer the collection, authorizing, publication, storage and retrieval of documents. * Administer the document lifecycle (author, approve, publish, revise, retire, archive) for engineering and construction * documents, including drawings, correspondence, procedures, and forms. * Prepare electronic document templates. * Scan documents, update procedures, and create documents as required. * Maintain the master electronic project files. * Prepare records for inactive storage according to the Records Retention Schedule; copy and scan documents as needed to * perform distribution and storage duties. * Manage document processes and systems to ensure control and availability of documentation to site personnel. * Review new and revised documentation for suitability and conformance to HNTB and client standards, including record * retention. * Perform and/or support regular audits of document control processes and procedures.

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Mgmt or Business * 2 years related experience * Without preferred degree, 6 years’ experience in project controls, document control, and/or technical administrative support required. **Preferred Qualifications:** * CDT (Construction Documents Technician) or equivalent
