CEI Project Administrator

HNTB Corporation is currently seeking a CEI Project Administrator in our CEI West Palm Beach, Florida office to support complex FDOT and Expressway Authority highway and bridge projects.

• Responsible for overall field management of HNTB's contract, "CEI" administration and coordination on mid to large size project of a diverse and complex nature.
• Monitor activities of assigned staff for conformance with HNTB's contractual requirements.
• Provide technical leadership for complex or unique assignments.
• Manage construction contracts for compliance with contract documents.
• Manage consultant contracts on behalf of HNTB clients.
• Manage the change process on ongoing construction contracts on behalf of HNTB clients.
• Review drawings, specifications, and installation for constructability. May recommend changes to design.
• Analyze complex construction/design problems requiring the development of new or improved techniques or procedures and consults with design engineering personnel.
• Read and interpret complex contract documents (plans, specs, shop drawings).
• Collect data to brief Client on project issues and provides possible resolutions.
• Prepare summary inspection reports of daily activities.

• At least 5 years of Project Administration experience on FDOT projects, and 15 years of construction administration experience.
• CTQP certifications required.
• Four year degree preferred.
