Customer Service Administative Assistant

High Liner Foods is the leading North American processor and marketer of value-added frozen seafood. Our retail branded products are sold throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico under the High Liner, Fisher Boy, Mirabel, Sea Cuisine and C. Wirthy labels, and are available in most grocery and club stores.

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to become the newest member of our Customer Service Team. The position will be based out of our Portsmouth, NH facility. You will be responsible for:ensuring that High Liner Foods customers receive professional, quality customer service through effective use of operational and order management skills.

• Process all sample requests, ensuring that all orders are processed daily, along with tracking all of the sample shipments with FedEx for monthly reporting.
• Maintain the Cost Center Control file, including setting up all new customers.
• Provide administrative support to other customer service members
• Manage Product Allocation Process, including meeting with procurement and the production schedules to review potential items for allocation.
• Act as a liason between Highliner, the customer and the EDI department.

• You enjoy collaborating with a wide range of skill sets. In this role, you’ll deal with multiple personality types and a wide spectrum of skill sets.
• You believe in education & so do we. We would like to see a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree for this position. We aren’t terribly fussy about the major you ended up with, but we will ask why you selected that major and what relevance it has had on your career.
• You pay attention to the details. This is some of the most important administrative work we do!
• You have a high degree of efficiency and diplomacy!
• You have great customer service skills. This position deals with both internal and external customers and we like to keep them happy.
• You have a knack for following up and not letting things slip through the cracks.
