Summary
The role is with HPE Financial Services, a division of Hewlett Packard Enterprise The intern would be working on the global marketing and communication team The position is located in our Berkeley Heights, NJ office, so the ideal candidate must be within commuting distance during school term and during breaks/summers periods We will not sponsor individuals for immigration benefits in this position (candidate must already be eligible to work in the US) The role will be supporting the development, maintenance and management of global communications content, programs and tools for HPE Financial Services. This includes a range of market-facing collaterals, limited-time promotions, external websites, video production and other digital-content vehicles including podcasts, audio/video conferences, e-mailers, newsletters and approved social-media.
Responsibilities
* Design, develop and maintain customer facing collateral including email marketing programs, brochures, flyers, PR backgrounders and other communication materials * Writing and editing print and online content * Ensuring adherence to corporate brand and messaging standards * Producing email & web communication, presentations and managing colleague events * Project managing the regionalization of marketing materials including local content applicability, language translations and final content production * Tracking, measuring and reporting on metrics of success (calls, clicks, leads, revenue, etc.) * Supporting global or regional communications projects and team meetings and providing input and insight necessary to ensure that communications are relevant to our target audiences
Ideal Candidate
* Must be currently enrolled in a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related * Must be graduating after May 2017. * Must live within a commutable distance to Berkeley Heights, NJ. No relocation assistance is provided. * We will not sponsor individuals for immigration benefits in this position (candidate must already be eligible to work in the US) * Solid record of past work experience and/or participation in meaningful extra-curricular activities * Proficiency with standard office technology and software (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.). * A clear understanding of marketing concepts, terminology and best practices * A familiarity with web marketing, social media in a business environment, preparation of presentations, project management as well as knowledge of marketing metrics and measurement * The ideal person for this role also must have good interpersonal and collaboration skills, be comfortable working across time zones with people not located in the same geographic region, and have an impeccable attention to detail. * Outstanding attention to detail * Strong written and verbal communications skills * Appreciation of worldwide communications landscape, including language and cultural difference * Good organizational and program management skills * Excellent teaming and interpersonal skills * Hard working, results-driven, self-starter, and one that gets things done * High energy, positive, proactive * Bright, articulate, quick-study and ability to think on feet and creative problem solver. * Poised and confident, but not arrogant. Warm personality. * Fluency in English essential; familiarity of working with a global workforce would be an advantage
